The diploma thesis focuses on the practical use of competitive intelligence, a method increasingly used to support decision making nowadays. The essential key principle is based on collection of precise data and their thourough analysis. The obtained information gives a comprehensive overview of the competitor analysis. The acquired knowledge of the competition is important for company's strategic decision-making processes. At the beginning the thesis gives a theoretical background on different means of data collecting including the ethic kodex. Folowing is the identification of the modern sources of information. Further, various methods and approaches of competitive intelligence are described. And the theoretical background on competitive strategies and their impact on the market wraps up the theoretical part of the thesis. The method is applied to create departmet of competitive inteligence for the company. Then the various options for further go to market activities are described and the scope of cooperation with selected customers is evaluted. The thesis describes the competitive intelligence advantages and the possible ways of aplications for the competitive strategy. At the end, the recommendations for the management of the company are summed up.

Economic Aspects of Process Innovation in an Enterprise

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of selected economic aspects of the established process innovation in the field of production digitalization in the selected company. The economic benefits of innovation for the company were formulated on the basis of the economic indicators results evaluation. The analysis and evaluation of the implemented process innovation in a broader context clearly shows that the specific process innovation in the field of production digitalization has become a significant benefit for the company, as it has a positive impact on the company as well as on its employees and future direction. Digitization in general thus represents a clear trend that the analysed society intends to continue.

Performance Evaluation of Company Lunaria

Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of company performance. The opening part describes the theoretical points, which is followed by introduction of the company. Using the financial analysis methods the financial condition of the company is evaluated. The results are compared to other five competitors. In the closing part are suggested recommendations to improve company performance.

On a basis of facts-finding about causes of the progress and the types of influence, which are projected on the reached facts, I recommend particular measures for improvement of current standing.

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of mango wasting on a specific farm in the Greater Accra Region in a developing country, Ghana. In the theoretical part of the final thesis, the author defines the basic topics closely related to the issue. The reader is acquainted with the agricultural sector and its basic functions, agricultural markets, added value by agricultural crops and a description of the agricultural commodity mango. The practical part contains the basic economic, demographic and climatic characteristics of the Republic of Ghana. Central to this part is the draft business plan, which presents the possibilities of processing unused mango surpluses in the form of mango jam production and possible socio-economic impacts in the area of the production.

The impact of value addition to fresh mangoes on the Socio-economic development of small scale mango farmers in Ghana

This diploma thesis aims to analyse the possibilities of processing the mangoes that farmers in Ghana regularly discard. Furthermore, it demonstrates, that by adding a value to the mango processing industry, the income of a farmer in Ghana could be considerably increased, leading to higher standard of living. The practical part of the thesis is based on literature research and introduces a business plan for the mango jam production in the Eastern Region, using simple and technologically undemanding processes. The study also provides economic calculations and overall project assessment. The estimated socioeconomic impacts of processing the mango surplus on the farmer can be found at the end of the thesis.
